Easy Appetizer 5 Ingredient Cream Cheese Rangoon Recipe

Cream cheese rangoon is one of my favorite recipes to make any time I'm craving something Asian because it is super simple, budget friendly, and let's not forget very delicious.
With just 5 ingredients you can easily whip up your own batch of cream cheese rangoons that are better than the restaurant to serve alongside your favorite Asian dishes like stir fried rice.
What Are Cream Cheese Rangoons?
Cream cheese rangoons are a pocket of deliciousness that offers a crispy light wonton wrapper filled with the creaminess of cream cheese elevated to the next level with the addition of green onions and sesame oil to give you a perfect flavorful bite.
Closely related to crab rangoons this budget friendly vegetarian substitute works perfectly to give you all your favorite flavors at a fraction of the cost.
Cream Cheese Rangoons Ingredients:
1 block of softened cream cheese
3 minced stalks of green onion
1-2 tablespoons (season to taste)
Wonton wrappers
Sweet and spicy Tai chili sauce
How Do Your Make Cream Cheese Rangoons?
Making cream cheese rangoons is simple to do and you can bake these in the oven in under 20 minutes plus no deep frying making them a healthier alternative.
To make simply combine softened cream cheese, minced green onion, and sesame oil to a bowl mixing throughouly.
Then make a glue to seal you wontons by mixing a tablespoon of flour with enough water to create a paste.
Lay out your wontons and moisten the edges with the flour paste.
Add one spoonful of cream cheese mixture then seal by combining opposite corners together then giving a pinch to seal your wonton edges.
Then place wontons on a cooking sheet spray with olive oil cooking spray and place in the oven at 375 for 15-18 minutes until slightly golden.

Cream cheese rangoons are one of my favorite appetizers to make when I'm in the mood for Chinese food.
These are so easy to make and the 5th ingredient is the finishing touch.
