Precautions To Making Soap At Home
Making soap at home requires some precautionary measures to ensure a successful soap batch.
One of the main elements to consider is avoiding a chemical burn and ingesting fumes, so make sure to have eye protection, a simple face mask, and long sleeve attire to protect your eyes and skin.
Also make sure to have a well ventilated working space and to use a stainless steel or an enamel covered cooking pot to heat ingredients.
Once these pots have been used for soap making do not reuse them again for cooking food and be sure to keep small children and pets away from soap making ingredients.
